Audacity is a multilingual audio editor and recorder that allows live audio recording, importing, editing and combining of sound files or new recordings. Editing of sound files (Ogg Vorbis, MP3, WAV or AIFF) includes cutting, copying, splicing or mixing sounds together and additng effects such as changing pitch, adding echo, phaser, wahwah or reverse.
